Withdrawal Policy

The SRAI Journal of Linguistics and Social Sciences (SRAIJLSS) considers manuscript withdrawal a serious matter and discourages it once the submission process has commenced. Authors wishing to withdraw their manuscript must submit a formal, written request stating the reason for withdrawal, signed by all co-authors. Withdrawal is permitted without penalty if requested before the manuscript enters the peer-review stage. Once peer review has begun, withdrawal requests are only considered under exceptional circumstances, such as significant errors, ethical concerns, or unforeseen conflicts of interest, and are subject to editorial approval. Manuscripts accepted for publication cannot be withdrawn without valid justification; such cases may result in an official notice of withdrawal being published to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record. If withdrawal occurs after acceptance due to author-side reasons, the journal reserves the right to impose a withdrawal fee to cover processing costs. Authors who withdraw manuscripts improperly may be restricted from future submissions. This policy ensures fairness, transparency, and respect for the time and effort of editors, reviewers, and the academic community.
